| Our Mission
My profession provides me with a source of joy, satisfaction, and pride. We treat patients of all ages from young kids to seniors. Everybody has a story to tell and a lesson to teach. Interacting with such a wide variety of people provides a constantly changing and challenging work environment. Due to the nature of orthodontics, I have the opportunity to get to know my patients over a long period of time. I consider myself to be a community orthodontist.
Education
- Doctor of Dental Surgery – University of Southern California School of Dentistry
- Master of Science – Northwestern University Dental School
- Certificate in Orthodontics – Northwestern University Dental School
Continuing Education
I am constantly taking courses through the local, state, and national orthodontic associations. I regularly attend seminars through Invisalign® and other orthodontic companies we work with. This allows me to provide my patients with the latest orthodontic treatments as well as treatment types that best fit their needs and lifestyles. I enjoy staying current and learning new techniques and appliance systems that I can then offer my patients.
In the Community
I have volunteered regularly at various soup kitchens and homeless shelters, and our practice supports our local schools and charities. We also provide pro bono and low cost orthodontic treatments to low income members of our community.
Outside the Office
I have lived in the Highland Park neighborhood for 20 years with my wife, best friend, and practice partner, Robyn. We have a daughter, Anna, two sons, Jon and Micah, and Monty, our pet python. I enjoy scuba diving, reading, playing poker, camping, and taking road trips.
