I love working in orthodontics because I have the opportunity to offer people in my community the benefit of an improved smile and good oral health, as well as giving them the knowledge necessary to make a truly informed decision.

Continuing Education
I continuously update my knowledge of new techniques and scientific developments that apply to orthodontics. I have been teaching orthodontics for the last 25 years, the last 10 years at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. I am involved in research involving the genetics of altered tooth number (missing teeth and too many teeth) and was recently awarded a grant to study Adherence Predictability with Invisalign. I publish and referee in both the basic science and clinical orthodontic literature.

Outside the Office
I am a native of Highland Park and live there with my husband, Kurt. We have three children, Anna, Jon, and Micah, as well as our pet python, Monty. I enjoy scuba diving, walking, reading, and beading jewelry.
